Its 16 acres of pet-friendly parkland includes several sports fields and courts (basketball and tennis), a playground, and a half-mile exercise trail that loops around the park. Bradley Road Park is also the home of Bay Lodge, a 130-person events venue that can be rented by Bay Village residents.
     
     
   • Cahoon Memorial Park is one of Bay Village’s larger parks. It covers 116 acres and is divided into east and west sections. As a whole, Cahoon Memorial Park offers an array of facilities, including baseball diamonds and lighted courts for basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball. Two more facilities are located here: Bay Boat Club and the Bay Village Family Aquatic Center, both of which are exclusive to residents. The latter is home to a seasonal outdoor pool.

It’s a pet-friendly spot that’s primarily known for its lighted tennis and pickleball courts, as well as its seasonal outdoor ice skating pond.    • Walker Road Park is jointly owned by Bay Village and the neighboring city of Avon Lake. Apart from its soccer fields and exercise trail, people also go here to fish independently or with Bay Village’s Fishing with Friends program. Fishing licenses are required, and every fish caught must be released in accordance with Ohio’s wildlife regulations.

   • Bay Middle School, which sits among the top 20 middle schools in Ohio. It is the only middle school in Bay Village and has a student body of over 700 children, all of whom are referred to as Bay Rockets.
     
     
   • Normandy Elementary and Westerly Elementary, the former open to K-2 to second graders, and the latter serving third and fourth graders. Westerly is especially notable, having recently been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School as well as ranking among the top 40 elementary schools in Ohio.

The actual building itself is a beauty, designed by Benjamin Hubbell and W. Dominick Benes. The 137-feet clock tower and vaulted ceiling are now both part of the market’s symbol.
